Second Day!

I am sorry that I did not update yesterday but the internet is really spotting where I am living. I arrived in Albania safely! Thanks for you prayers. I am living with a couple, Vali and Rudzi, they are very kind and I like them a lot but it is hard to communicate with them because they speak very little English. Caralee Loring picked me up at the airport with her son David but they are taking their niece to see Greece and won't be back until Wednesday. There is a girl here who is from New Jersey and she has shown me around Korca, I am getting to be great friends with her. Eriola is an Albanian who speaks very good English and tomorrow she is going to show me her work. She is the director of the care for the elderly. One thing that I noticed right off the bat is that the people here drive CRAZY! There is constant honking and the drivers DO NOT wait for people. You could take the craziness of Seattle driving and times it by 10. The World Cup is also going on, the people here are big fans of Germany and I was having coffee with Eriola and the whole street was filled with cheering. I was in the apartment where I live and when they won we could hear honking and cheering throughout the city! Well I just wanted to let you know how things are going! Things are good here.
